Clouds of Lullaby, Beyond

The visual I get when I hear the chorus to “Imaginary” by Evanescence

In my field of paper flowers
And candy clouds of lullaby
I lie inside myself for hours
And watch my purple sky fly over me

And here’s something recent I finished…

Beyond

The faith you keep-your floating dove
You fall to sleep, you fell in love
The patient promise-just enough
At peace with living just because

How many spirits feed the sun?
Moth wings seek the soul as one
We’re lured in lock step motion
From this body- Angels abandon above

Beyond the dark space from which we’ve all run
From below the dark grace of the un-chosen
Outside the suffering we thought better to shun
The long awaited ending has begun

And all the sacred lines I’ve sworn by lose my trust
You could never save us
At the instance where we’ve become the gust
Sweeping ourselves free of every reason

Every one…
