This video is straight comedy, with a guy who does by far the best Obama impression I’ve seen so far…And the guy who plays Mccain…there are no words, he’s just hilarious. I’ve watched it like five times now. I got the link from LisaNova’s page with this video over at youtube, where on the side comment she has a list of questions for the viewers about the debate.
I have sent the application to be registered to vote this fall. I had to mail in the application and if everything goes the way it should, I can just show up at a polling place with id and vote (I think), and that’s it. I live in one of those toss up states they talk about being significant on the electoral map. Why don’t we all just count the popular vote and be done with it? Anyway…I went to see Swing Vote with my mother yesterday and I was surprised to have left the theater a fan of the film. I mean I went with her to simply get out of the house-not expecting to like the movie much because it had to do with politics and stuff, but I really like how the story unfolded. It’s a funny movie but some parts had me seriously holding back tears, which was refreshing, since I’ve been very numb and unmoved for the past few days.
